The University of Pisa participated in the 32nd IEEE International Symposium on On-Line Testing and Robust System Design (IEEE IOLTS 2026) with the paper “SVE-Based Acceleration of Homomorphic Encryption Arithmetic on ARM Neoverse Processors”, presented by Massimiliano Donati.
The work, carried out within the AERO Project, introduces SVE-based optimizations for the Microsoft SEAL library, accelerating key arithmetic operations of the CKKS homomorphic encryption scheme on ARM Neoverse processors. Experimental results demonstrate significant performance improvements while preserving compatibility with the original software framework.
