Christos Katsakioris from ICCS presented in the 1st Workshop on SErverless Systems, Applications and MEthodologies (SESAME @ EuroSys’23) an ongoing work that acknowledges AERO. The workshop was co-organized with the EuroSys 2023 conference and took place in Rome, Italy, on the 8th of May.
The work presented the design and the ongoing implementation of FaaSCell, a microVM orchestrator for single-node deployments, focused on simplicity and extensibility. FaaSCell aims to facilitate experimentation and to enable research at the node level, while preserving the flexibility to be accommodated in larger-scale settings.
