Thanos Stratikopoulos from the University of Manchester, presented in the 7th MoreVMs workshop (MoreVMs’23), an on-going work that acknowledges AERO. The workshop was co-organized with the ‹Programming› 2023 International Conference, and took place in Tokyo, Japan on the 13th of March.
The work presented a new mode in TornadoVM, that enables Java programmers to generate parallel code that can run from any other programming language and runtime system. Thus, a first flavour of cross-language interoperability for the generated acceleration code.
